PC PAL’s unparalleled experience in creating systems for monitoring the growth of Swedish school children, and patient management systems for specialist growth clinics in over 50 countries, GrowthXP is the complete tool for the recording, calculation and display of auxological data.
Currently in the final testing and validation phase of development, a British Isles specific version of GrowthXP implementing the latest UK-WHO charts, will be released in the coming months. Created to satisfy the needs of both the primary and secondary care sectors, the system also caters for the diverse IT infrastructure requirements of the NHS and can be licensed as a complete turnkey solution, or a component for integration into other systems.
Utilising well established technologies developed by PC PAL for multinational clinical trials, all aspects of user management, data validation, transfer, remote access and audit trail creation, are performed to FDA/GCP standards. Charts for the first 4 years of life are constructed using UK 1990 reference data, reanalysed 2009 and WHO Child Growth Standards, with UK 1990 data used after 4 years of age.
The flexibility of the multi-tier, smart-client architecture, together with the breadth of content, means that all neonatal, childhood and pubertal growth monitoring needs, from community data collection to secondary care review and follow-up, can now be found in a single system.
